Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PinPost mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

PinPost lets you choose a place on a map (or your current position), add a title, note, or photo, save places in collections, check the weather for a place, and share places as designed location cards or photo stamps through apps you choose.

2. Nature of Pins and Location Cards

PinPost creates and shares map pins. It does not modify your device's GPS or Location Services, and it does not change the location seen by other apps or services. A pin, card, or photo stamp shows a place you selected; it does not represent your real-time presence or prove that you were at that place.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use the App. If you are a minor, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. License

Subject to these Terms and the EULA, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

5. PinPost Pro, Subscriptions, and Purchases

• Plans. PinPost Pro is required to use the App and is offered as an auto-renewable weekly subscription and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices and features are shown in the App before purchase.
• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The weekly subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Managing and canceling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings or from Settings in the App. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Restoring. You can restore eligible purchases using "Restore Purchases" in the App.
• Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store policies.

Subscription management is provided through Apple and RevenueCat, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You are responsible for the pins, cards, and photos you create and share. You agree not to use the App to:

• deceive, defraud, or mislead others about your whereabouts in order to cause harm or gain an unfair advantage;
• harass, stalk, threaten, or impersonate any person;
• share another person's home address or private location without their consent;
• violate any law or the rights of others;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law, or circumvent the paywall, licensing, or security features;
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App without our written permission.

7. Maps, Places, and Weather

Maps, place search, addresses, and weather are provided by Apple and its data providers. We do not guarantee their accuracy or availability. The App is not a navigation or safety tool; do not rely on it for emergencies, navigation, or decisions where inaccurate location or weather information could cause harm.

8. User Content

Places, notes, photos, and collections you create are your content and are stored on your device. You are responsible for your content and for keeping your own backups; we do not store your content on our servers.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, card templates, code, text, and graphics, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Map and weather data remain the property of Apple and its licensors. Except for the license granted above, no rights are transferred to you.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that map, address, or weather information will be accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP OR CONTENT YOU SHARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD 50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Termination

These Terms apply while you use the App. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 9–11) will survive.

13. Changes to the App and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms; the "Last Updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

15. Apple App Store Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict between those terms and our EULA regarding App Store distribution, the applicable Apple terms govern that subject matter.
