Privacy Policy
App: Crosshair Pro · Developer: Ünsal Öner · Last Updated: June 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Crosshair Pro (the "App") handles information. Crosshair Pro is a tool for designing and exporting crosshair configurations for games such as Counter-Strike 2 / CS:GO and VALORANT. We built the App to work without accounts and without collecting your personal data. Please read this policy together with our Terms of Service and EULA.
Summary
- We do not require an account or login.
- We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or photos.
- We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and we do not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission.
- Your settings and saved crosshairs are stored only on your device.
- Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat; this involves limited purchase-related data as described below.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect, transmit, or store on our own servers any personally identifiable information. There is no sign-up, no user profile, and no backend server operated by us that receives your content.
2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is created and kept on your device (in the App's local storage) and is not sent to us:
- App preferences — e.g. selected game, haptics on/off, preview autoplay, onboarding completion status.
- Saved crosshairs — crosshairs you choose to save, including a name you enter, the game, the crosshair share code, and a creation timestamp.
- Free-copy credits — your local credit balance and the date credits were last granted, used to manage free copies for non-subscribers.
- Cached subscription status — a locally cached flag indicating whether your subscription is active, used so the App can unlock features quickly offline.
You can remove this data at any time by clearing your saved crosshairs in Settings or by deleting the App, which removes all locally stored data.
3. Purchases and Subscriptions
Crosshair Pro offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions and/or one-time purchases that unlock premium features.
- Apple processes all payments through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of your information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat, Inc. is our subscription management provider. To verify and restore purchases and manage entitlements, RevenueCat processes purchase information (such as your transaction/receipt data, product identifiers, country, and a randomly generated app user ID) and limited device information. RevenueCat does not receive your name or email from the App. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
We use this information only to deliver, validate, and restore your purchases and to determine whether premium features should be unlocked. We do not use it for advertising or sell it.
4. Notifications
If you allow notifications, the App schedules local notifications on your device (for example, a daily reminder that a free copy is available). These notifications are generated on-device and are not push notifications sent from a server. You can disable notifications at any time in the iOS Settings app. The App functions without notifications enabled.
5. Sharing Content
When you use the share feature (for example, to share the App or share a crosshair as an image or code), iOS hands the content to the destination you choose. We do not control or receive that content. Sharing is always initiated by you.
6. How We Use Information
Because we do not collect personal data, we do not use it for profiling, advertising, or sale. Locally stored data is used solely to provide App functionality on your device. Purchase data is used solely to manage your subscription and entitlements as described in Section 3.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored on your device remains until you delete it (by clearing saved crosshairs or uninstalling the App). Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their respective policies and applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Security
We rely on Apple's platform protections and on-device storage. Because data stays on your device and we operate no servers that hold your content, the primary control over your data is your device's own security (passcode, encryption, and account settings).
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights regarding personal data. Since we do not collect or hold personal data about you, most requests can be fulfilled directly by you on your device (by clearing data or uninstalling). For purchase data, please contact Apple or RevenueCat, or reach out to us and we will assist where we can.
11. International Users
The App can be used worldwide. Any purchase data processed by Apple and RevenueCat may be handled in countries other than your own, subject to their policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, within the App or its store listing. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
